for you.
I maintain a strong presence with industry executives, putting my clients in the right hands at all times.
Distribution success depends on having the right relationships, and I have already built the relationships—the
opportunity is there for you to utilize them through me!
I will work with you to increase your sales, improve
your efficiencies, and expand your retail presence. I work with your goals in mind and with the assistance of your entire
distribution network. I will act as your newsstand manager, working with distributors to find any holes and to point
out any uncertainties in current distribution. Newsstands can be tricky when you have a small staff. With the
right monitoring, however newsstands can work well for any title.
I will do all newsstand tasks on the behalf of your
title. This can include, but are not be limited to:

Coordinating newsstand print orders and providing them to your printer;
Ø
Arranging shipping through Clark Worldwide or other shipping agents;
Ø
Working with your editorial schedule in order to promote specific subjects to boost newsstand presence;
Ø
Analyzing distribution in order to maintain efficiency and growth;
Ø
Negotiating or re-negotiating terms with all national distributors and wholesalers in order to achieve the
best terms that can be offered to your title;
Ø
Compiling and analyzing sales data to expand on success;
Ø
Providing comprehensive and detailed analysis from retail outlets, distribution depots, and national distributors;
Ø
Checking weekly return flow reports to monitor withholdings;
Ø
Projecting different scenarios for growth, or discussing why you might have met your ceiling and how to bust through
that ceiling;
Ø
Exploring category maintenance with retail buyers and distributors;
Ø
Keeping up with competitor trends in order to meet them in growth;
Ø
Finding new and creative outlets for your title;
Ø
Providing post-print order reports to provide explanation on all draw changes;
Ø
Working directly with large bookstore chain buyers and wholesalers to create a better knowledge of your title;
Ø
Communicating with distributors to discuss promotions and other opportunities for your title;
Ø
Helping you determine a marketing budget for newsstand promotions;
Ø
Exploring untapped potential in Barnes and Noble and Borders (even with substantial coverage in both retailers,
there is often room to expand);
Ø
Determining authorization status for Chapters, Presse Commence, and Coles in the Canadian market.
I also have relationships with printers, subscription circulation
consultants, fulfillment houses and much, much more.
